The tube rent map shows price divide across the capital

Looking for affordable rental property in London? It could be trickier than you think.

The diagram was put together using data from property website Find Properly, and reflects rental prices in London -from the bustling tourist hotspots of Oxford Circus and Leicester Square to leafy Loughton.

This clever take on the famous London Underground Map (devised by website Thrillist), also reflects the divide in prices across the capital. Dagenham Heathway in the extreme east being marked at £796, while prices in the west London station of Hatton Cross near Heathrow amounted to only £324.

A study published in June 2015 show that London rent was double the national average, at 10.7 per cent higher than it was in the corresponding period of the previous year. the figures which showed that London is the third most expensive city to live in after the Cayman Islands and Switzerland.
