Hudsons Estate Agents get London moving again

While London’s businesses closed their doors recently, our team members stayed busy giving virtual valuations, holding online property tours and even agreeing deals on lettings and sales properties . When the property market fully opened again, our agents found themselves dealing with an unexpectedly high volume of work, from handling new sales and rental instructions to helping tenants and buyers find their ideal properties.

This surge of interest was, in part, due to the pent-up demand that developed while the property market was limited by government restrictions. Fortunately, the careful groundwork put in place by our sales and lettings teams both prior and during lockdown meant that we had technology in place that would allow us to safely handle enquiries, going forward.

Property agents in London experience the new normal

We may have been getting Londoners moving again, but it’s far from ‘business as usual.’ It’s clear that social distancing rules and strict safety standards will be with us for some time to come.

Thankfully, the ‘new normal’ of working within the safety guidelines is going remarkably well for buyers and sellers. Video conferencing tools are a great way to explore a property in detail in advance of a personal visit.

Our 360º home tours show a property from every angle. When a client joins one of our agents on a video call, it can be just like a personal physical viewing. The agent can point out the property’s best features and answer any questions the client may have: this process not only saves time but also helps to minimise physical viewings. These are also available for our buyers and tenants to explore even when we are offline (calls are answered 8.00am-8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays).

A virtual valuation with leading West End estate agents

A similar process is available for landlords and vendors (sellers). If you are currently shielding or would prefer not to invite someone into your home at this time, it’s easy to use FaceTime, Zoom or any app you prefer to show a Hudsons agent around your property. After all in the last 18 years there aren’t many properties we haven’t sold in London’s West End.

Virtual valuation is a great way to start a conversation about the sales or rental value of your home. As Hudsons’ are very experienced agents, we are familiar with every street and building in central London, our valuation will be based on that wide experience and detailed local knowledge.

As busy central London estate agents, we had been anticipating a surge in demand once restrictions were lifted, and we haven’t been disappointed. If you are looking for a property for sale or to let in the West End, we’d love to help. Alternatively, if you’d like us to value your home, why not get in touch by calling 020 7323 2277 or visit our valuation page on our website https://valuation.hudsonsproperty.com/home/1000-hudsons-property
