Hudsons Block Management Service - Why We Started it and How We’ll Do It

Hudsons has been servicing customers within the property industry since 2002. During this time we have provided specialist expertise in selling and renting residential homes, tenancy management, commercial office rentals and property investment. From this sustained success we have built an excellent reputation which is why we have continued to receive specific requests to enhance our service still further by managing whole buildings by providing Block Management services

Why haven’t we done it before? As with everything Hudsons does, we like to make sure we are fully prepared but most importantly able to add significant value to the service. This ensures we not only perform but can deliver an excellent service standards that stands out from the crowd and exceeds expectations. So in January 2018, after months of research and preparation, we launched Hudsons Block Management.

During our research and due diligence phase we found that many customers had mixed feelings about their existing property manager. It was noted that often they are the ones who ask for money for their service charge and ground rent but have little or no interaction unless there is a maintenance issue to resolve. We decided to change that and provide a more interactive approach with a mixture of local knowledge, a personal touch and utilising the latest technology for information sharing.

We believe that if we fully understand the customer journey we can make this a great success. We have a strategy and it seems to be working as we have been instructed on more units within the first six months than we could ever have envisaged!


Our aims in Block Management are to:

  • Ensure the safety of our residents as the primary factor before anything else
  • Provide a first class, proactive, personal customer service
  • Keep costs to a minimum without compromising quality, whilst being totally transparent with any fees charged
  • Respond promptly to any queries or maintenance issues
  • Create a friendly interaction with our residents and share offers from local retailers tailored to them
  • Improve the value of each property owner’s asset by improving the block and keeping it up-to-date to modern living standards
